7 BIGGEST Feng Shui Mistakes in the Bedroom
& How to FIX Them

By Unique Feng Shui

Creating a harmonious space is extremely important in the bedroom. It’s the place where you rest, relax and rejuvenate your spirit on a nightly basis, so it must be a positive place with healing and restorative chi.
We’ve compiled a list of the biggest Feng Shui mistakes people make in their bedroom, and how to fix them easily!

1— Having an Exaggerated amount of Technology

The bedroom is definitely not the right place for a big screen TV, video game console or other techie gadgets as these things will cause trouble sleeping. They will also sap the sensual energy from the room, diminishing the love energy between you and your partner. Keep the bedroom free of screens to increase the positive vibes.

Although all bedrooms should be completely tech-free it’s understandable if you just can’t avoid it. If you don’t seem to find a way of removing the TV or any other device, you can always place a bowl of tourmaline stones next to it to absorb the Electromagnetic rays and still help you sleep better. Get Tourmeline cures for harmful elecromagnetic waves.

2— The Multipurpose Room

Your bedroom is the place where you sleep, night and spend quality romantic time with your partner, let’s keep it that way. It should not also be the place where you work, exercise or do other activities that detract from the peaceful energy of the room. Never make your bedroom or any small portion of your bedroom, a home office or exercise studio as these things will bring in a different kind of energy that will detract from sleep and romance. These are a huge NO-NO, especially that treadmill you’ve been hiding under your bed for some time now, exercise equipment belongs elsewhere. Get rid of everything that doesn’t belong in a bedroom and make look for making Feng Shui improvements. More common issues and cures here.

3— Clutter and more Clutter

Having a room full of clutter is the surest way to bring in a manic energy that will make it difficult to sleep. Just imagine waking up to a mess, it’s guaranteed that the rest of the day will be just that, hectic. They say a bedroom is a reflection of the mind, so if cluttered, what can we expect? These things will only remind you of the stressors you face in your daily life and will not bring peace for restful sleep. Make sure your bedroom is neat, clean and tidy at all times to invite in positive, calm chi.
To optimize this, use invigorating scents and hang faceted crystal balls on the windows to enhance the light energy coming in.

4— Boring & meaningless Colors

When choosing bedroom colors, think of the overall energy of the entire bedroom. So while you might think fire colors painted on every wall would welcome in romantic energy, it can definitely be way too much. Instead choose calming colors for the walls and furniture and add accents of fire colors to drive up the romance. Also be sure to select wall and furniture colors that speak to you and your personality. You’re looking for your bedroom to feel like an extension of yourself. If there is a color that you consistently gravitate towards, even if it is bright and loud, go for it. Just make sure that your partner isn’t turned off by your color choices so that you can both rest in the room. Feng Shui symbols can also give the bedroom that special accent of red and pink plus a great significance to attract romance in the bedroom. Get them here.

5— Dead Plants

There’s nothing worse than dead, rotting plants, anywhere. Not only does it negatively impact air quality in the room, it is also a reminder of death and the opposite of nurturing, this brings bad energy into a space. The best solution is to bring in easy to care for plants like bamboo that require almost zero attention. Plus, bamboo is a symbol for growth that welcomes rejuvenating energy.

6— A Room for just One

If you want balance in your love life, you must put balance into your bedroom. Make sure there is two of everything in your bedroom, from nightstands to pillows to toothbrush holders. The more the room is balanced and set up for two people, the more you will welcome in a romantic energy that will ensure you both feel sensually connected to one another. Getting a pair of Mandarin Ducks is a powerful addition too.

7— Memories under the Bed

A lot of people like to keep old photos, souvenirs and other reminders of their past lives in the bedroom. While it can seem romantic, it can actually damage your current relationships. Having those old memories so close by can cause you to unconsciously hold on to the past, especially in regards to the bad feelings and emotions. Store those items elsewhere, preferably away from the home, so that they cannot affect you on a daily basis.
If you are in a relationship, it’s best to keep it strong right? Make it last by also placing this beautiful Peony Tree here.

Hoping your bedroom will bloom with energy after these improvements, make it happen!
